Lecture about iphone app development
Last week I have read an article about the situation on our job market. It is really interesting because it concerns all of us. There was a statement made by the author that nowadays students which have graduated might have serious problems with getting a job. That is because they have no experience whatsoever. They are taught only the theory and have nothing to do with practice. This is a serious problem because it means that the number of unemployed people is going to increase. This is especially sad due to the fact that these are young people who should have a possibility of working somewhere. That is why some of the universities are cooperating with big corporations giving their students a possibility of gaining experience that they need. My university is cooperating with Apple, for example. Recently we had a lecture about iphone app development and it was organized by Apple and it contained a lot of useful information. I have learned about issues that are normally not available to the public. Obviously we will be able to get something more than just this iphone app development lecture. We will have a possibility of further cooperation and even work at their stores. Isn^t that great? I hope more universities will do the same thing, soon.
